Ellipsis Crypto: Will EPX Coin Reach $1?

There are multiple platforms that facilitate the usage of cryptocurrencies. One of them is Ellipsis Finance. Ellipsis is a decentralized exchange that allows for the swapping of stablecoins with low slippage and minimal fees on BNB Chain. Let’s take a closer look at EPX crypto and its main characteristics to analyze its perspectives.

What Is Ellipsis Finance?

One can use Ellipsis to bring their stablecoins to the trading platform and trade them for other cryptocurrencies. When Ellipsis was started, it simply supported three different swaps. Users can now choose from 16 different stablecoins to swap. Launched in 2021 as a Curve Finance protocol fork, Ellipsis is an Automated Market Maker (AMM) or exchange that lets users and other decentralized protocols exchange tokens. Users of Ellipsis can reward themselves by putting tokens into liquidity pools. It has two tokens: the original token, called EPS, and the token called EPX, which was created as a result of a migration at a rate of 88 EPX to one EPS.

Although it is possible to trade both EPS and EPX, only EPX can be staked in the system. Ellipsis' founders remain anonymous, which is typical in the DEX industry but may cause anxiety for investors looking for transparency.

By providing three various types of pools, this network sets itself apart from others and allows users to generate passive revenue. The first set of pools, known as base pools, are the same paired asset pools that may be found in any other DeFi protocol. The second, known as meta pools, enables the pooling of tokens with completely different base pools.

Metapools allow one token to be swapped to any of the tokens in the 3Pool. For example: A metapool can be DAI - 3Pool. Liquidity providers only need to deposit DAI into the pool, and users will be able to swap from DAI to any token in the 3Pool (BUSD, USDC, or USDT). This model benefits Ellipsis in a few ways:

  1. Focus on only a few main pools, which increases the liquidity of those pools and avoids sharding liquidity.
  2. Stablecoin projects can easily provide liquidity regardless of their low liquidity. This encourages other stablecoins to be added into Ellipsis liquidity pools, which eventually increases the chance of Ellipsis being able to provide access to every stablecoin.
  3. Increase the trading volume, therefore increasing the trading fees that liquidity providers can earn.

Ellipsis Coin: The Native Token

When it comes to EPX coin, the total supply of EPX is 132B tokens. EPX crypto is a BEP-20 token that powers the Ellipsis decentralized finance (DeFi) platform. The entire supply will be used to incentivise liquidity providers on Ellipsis Finance.

EPX tokens can be used to:

  1. Vote on proposals: EPX holders can vote on proposals that affect the future of the Ellipsis platform. This gives them a say in how the platform is developed and managed.
  2. Lock up EPX tokens: Users can lock up their EPX tokens to earn rewards. This helps to secure the Ellipsis network, and it also rewards users for their long-term commitment to the platform.
  3. Boost their yields: Users can use EPX tokens to boost their yields on other DeFi platforms. This is a great way to earn extra income on your crypto investments.

Ellipsis Coin: Price Analysis

Let's now look at Ellipsis's past price development. While it's crucial to keep in mind that past outcomes do not guarantee future success, knowing how the token has behaved in the past can give you important background information when evaluating or creating an Ellipsis price pred action.

Given that EPX replaced EPS, an assessment of EPS's performance before to EPX's debut is pertinent. The launch of EPS in the spring of 2021 was advantageous because of the incredibly upbeat market mood, which was in part affected by the influx of Covid-19 stimulus cheques into the cryptocurrency field from the United States.

The recently launched EPS cryptocurrency rose to an all-time high of $21.29 on March 24, 2021, thanks to the hype surrounding blockchain technology. But after that, it started to drop since the market thought it was a little overpriced. The token's value plummeted the following day to roughly $2.50 but began to rebound in early April, peaking at over $6.90.

After that, there was a decline, which was made worse by the big cryptocurrency market crash on May 19, 2021. With EPS trading below $0.40 in mid-July, both the token and the wider market entered a period of low activity. At the moment, the coin costs very little, $0.01768.

Is Ellipsis Crypto (EPX) A Good Investment?

While the price of EPX coin remains low during this current bearish market, it is certain that the platform is developing and growing. Just recently, the team behind Ellipsis has introduced the latest version of Ellipsis to date, V2.0. The platform has shown positive trends, particularly after its decision to replace the EPS with the new EPX coin.

Will EPX Coin Reach $1?

It’s possible that EPX will eventually reach $1 and even surpass this threshold. For instance, some analytics promise the coin will go even further and reach $2 by 2030. However, other crypto websites, such as DigitalCoinPrice, state that by 2032, Ellipsis crypto might only go as high as $0.00334. Additionally, analytics like CoinCodex believe that EPX crypto will cost $1.03 by 2028.

Overall, Ellipsis has a strong team behind it, a good use case, well-designed tokenomics, and an engaged community. These features, especially in the bullish market, might make all the difference.
